Operations Coordinator
Melinda Robinson is a dedicated farmer, entrepreneur, and environmental advocate from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. As the Chief Operating Officer and a founding member of Youth Engaged in Agriculture and Rural Networking (YEARN), she works to empower young farmers through education, mentorship, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Melinda also serves as Operations Coordinator at Elysian, where she supports research, project coordination, and administrative operations that help advance initiatives in agriculture, sustainability, and community development. Elysian is a research, writing, and coordination service that supports founders, organizations, and social impact projects through strategic planning, grant development, and operational support.
She manages a four acre farm where she combines traditional farming methods with climate smart techniques to improve water efficiency and environmental resilience. Through her involvement in initiatives such as the UNDP Ridge to Reef project and the OECS Youth Female Farmers Project, Melinda actively promotes ecosystem conservation, community engagement, and opportunities for young women in agriculture across the Caribbean.
Her work reflects a deep commitment to strengthening local food systems while supporting the next generation of farmers and environmental stewards.
