Leeza Charles

Founder and Principal

Leeza Charles is a founder, strategist, and operations professional from St Vincent and the Grenadines. She is the founder of Elysian Works, a private support practice that helps founders, professionals, and organizations manage complex work through writing, research, executive support, and coordinated project management.

Leeza brings a multidisciplinary background shaped by experience across aviation, marine logistics, hospitality, and international supply chains. At the age of twenty she served as Operations Supervisor at JFK Terminal 4 in New York, managing fast paced operational environments that required precision, coordination, and clear decision making.

Her experience extends into international logistics and supply chains including the movement of fresh produce and specialized equipment across borders. She has also developed business relationships in China and Taiwan and maintains an interest in international collaboration and emerging markets.

Leeza also serves as Director of the Basil Charles Educational Foundation, where she leads fundraising initiatives, grant writing, donor relations, and funding strategy to support education and community development programs. Through this work she has developed strong experience in philanthropic partnerships and nonprofit funding.

She is also the cofounder of Youth Engaged in Agriculture and Rural Networking, a nonprofit initiative that supports youth leadership and sustainable agriculture in the Caribbean. Her entrepreneurial work includes founding Arubana Retreat, a luxury eco tourism concept focused on sustainability and regenerative development.

Through her work she has also engaged with venture capital ecosystems in Silicon Valley, gaining insight into early stage innovation, founders, and global entrepreneurship.

At Elysian Works, Leeza focuses on helping clients bring clarity and coordination to complex projects. Her work often combines writing, research, strategic thinking, and operational support for individuals and organizations navigating ambitious work.
